    So sorry that the blog has been a bit delayed! I'm posting pictures from San Giminiano tonight on weebly and the pics from Rocco will hopefully be up by the end of this weekend! So... today I had my first day of class! I'm so incredibly excited to be able to make my own fresco at the end of this course! Woohoooooooo! My professor is incredibly knowledgeable as well-he just came back from Iceland a hour before class apparently, but did a wonderful job explaining the course. Best part was that we didn't have to bullshit with the icebreakers:) woohoo Florence! Karen and I went to the market after and picked up some ingredients for lunch-delicious brusseta!!! It was AMAZING!!!! Fresh mozzarella cheese, pesto, tomatoes and a drizzle of olive oil=perfection!!! Had a glass of wine with it as well:) Tonight I'm going to a free 3 course welcome meal!!! So, saving some room for that! Gunna wear my black dress you picked out Deanna with my sandals:) Other than that, I'm doing well, little tired so I'm going to take a nap. I love you all and will ttys!!!

Ciao from Florence, Italy!!!!!

First of all I want to say how much I miss all of you and I am so sorry for the delay in the posts!!! I have more than my fair share of images I would LOVE to show you, but it's about 2am here (you'd be proud of me little one, still a bit jet-lagged and I have well over 200 pics and it's only been the second day lmao! However, I will specify some highlights from the past 2 days:) First off-can I get a hey for Neptune's fine patootie! I'm going to eventually make a series of all the asses in Florence haha-Neptune's booty is the first thing I see when I turn left (or maybe it's right haha sense of direction still isn't there haha) when I wake up and walk down my street-Borgo de Greci!

Let's see here, the beauty of absolutely EVERYTHING! From the roof covered with all these beautiful pigeons to the details on the buildings to the brick!! AHHHHH the brick here is AMAZING!!! Best meal I'v had thusfar-by far my 4 euro mango and chocolate gelato :) :) :)!!! I made the mistake and spent 10 euros on this fancy one cuz we decided to sit down-big no no!! And yet my 4 euro mango blew it's fancy ass outta the water!!! I made dinner for me and my roommates today-brag about how me and my awesome sister cook all the time and learned from the best mama ever:) I made pasta with sautéed onions, garlic (in olive oil-thank you johnny, it's divine!) then they put on some canned tomato sauce-bleh for me, I just put the pasta with some butter mmmhmmm! delicious!!! Then we had some parmesan sprinkled over the top!! Perfection! And some red bell peppers (I know what you're thinking Deanna, I thought the same thing, but one of the roommates really likes em and I was like eh whatever, but it was actually good!) The some fresh bread with butter and olive oil!! God it was good! 

Went out tonight with my roommate Karen-she was meeting u with an old friend and another woman she was traveling with and asked if I'd come along-I was like hell ya! We ended up strolling around, they got some drinks, then we went to get gelato-where I had my mango and chocolate one. We ended up eating it on the stairs leading up to the Duomo-yep that's right..star gazing, eating mango gelato on the stairs to the Duomo-one of the best memories I've had in a long time! We then got some wine and pizza at this cheap pizza place-stayed there like true Italians for a good 2-3 hours-longest meal (4th meal haha) I've ever had! Great experience. The owners ended up giving us a free pizza and then some guy came over and bought us a rose haha, what smoozers, but hey, I'd take the free food anytime! Oh, and it was pepperoni! BEST I mean BEST pepperoni/red meat I have ever had in my entire life! It was spicy and savory and uhhh Paul you would have loved it!!!! I was really happy I went out, it was a lot of fun and nice to meet new people-even if they were creepy guys gawking at you as you eat ha.

Tato, you would love their assortment of fruity gelato-they have a lot of weird ones too-my next one will be proscuttio and lemon-idk why but it's intriguing, yes it sounds a bit ehh but I just can't leave here without trying it haha! 

Everything here is beautiful, I wish you were all here to share it with me. Nal, you'd like all the anatomical figures that drape the city-it really is amazing to be here!

Brian-I did the hat challenge! I have yet to post all of them yet, but they will be on here soon! Alrighty, tho, it's getting late and tomorrow we are going across the Ardno River to see some beautiful gardens! I love you all and cannot wait to see you!
